The private quarters of Casa Punta Cacique sit on a sloped 700 m2 wedge-shaped strip of land, which stops short of a brook. A bridge connects them to the house´s social spaces, which crown a 400m2 rocky site with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.
From the road, a volume with a double-sloping roof replicates as it ascends over the land, metamorphosing as it conforms to the irregular site. The structure culminates with a gazebo-like octagon with a 180 degree view. Surrounding it flows the pool, and it´s infinity edge mirrors the horizon as its water virtually falls into the Pacific Ocean.
